Traditionally, pregnancy is revealed by a blood test for the eighth day after the conception assumed by a woman, but not earlier, than in 3-5 days of monthly periods delay. For this purpose venous blood has to be checked in the morning on an empty stomach.
If you plan to make this test in other time of day, then it is necessary to refuse meal during 4-6 hours prior to procedure. If you take medicinal or hormonal preparations, you have to inform of it the gynecologist or the nurse. For verifying of results, the pregnancy test should be repeated in several days.
