Child Development, Your Baby at 9 Months

Not only emotions of a 9-month-old baby get brighter and richer every day, the main thing is the ability to stay in the upright position. The first attempts to walk make parents want to push the baby forward, to help him to get oriented. And this is quite understandable. However, the baby will have to wait 1-2 months until he would be able to easily walk on his own. Adults are often surprised at the baby’s emotions: his astonishment and joy. He cries and laughs, expresses anger, disgust or curiosity. He monitors you, repeats your actions, tries to get an item with two hands. He wants to walk in the street or to the other room. He has good memory-he remembers where you keep toys, needful things.

He gets on your knees and tries to reach a pendant on your neck or a cell phone in your jacket’s pocket. And if he doesn't like how you are wiping his nose, he’ll act up, turn away and push your hands. The baby expands his zone of discovery and now includes the yard, the park, the children’s playground where you walk. If you choose “an incorrect” from his point of view direction - be ready for the protest, discontent. The baby may remove the hat he dislikes, and you won’t be able to talk him into putting it on again. Sensing the things, the baby inserts fingers in them and tries them “to the tooth”. He has enough teeth to bite, nibble or chew.

You can diversify the usual bath procedures by showering with a strong water jet located at the distance of 25-30 cm from the baby. After rub the baby with the towel.
